How to get to Nusa Penida Island

Getting to Nusa Penida from Bali is a quick boat ride away and hotel transfers from the most popular tourist areas on Bali are often included in the ticket price.

If you're staying in South Bali a fast boat from Sanur, Benoa or Serangan is your best option as transfers from Seminyak, Kuta, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Denpasar and parts of Canggu are often included (drop-off on Nusa Penida Island is not included). If you're staying around Ubud or Candidasa it is better to depart from Padang Bai to Nusa Penida with Eka Jaya.

Bali to Nusa Penida with Gili Getaway

Bali to Nusa Penida with Bounty Cruises in 2020!

Bounty Cruises will launch a new route from Bali to Nusa Penida in 2020. They currently operate to Nusa Lembongan, however due to popular demand they will soon be offering Bali to Nusa Penida. Departing from Benoa harbour in South Bali (close to Denpasar airport), the fast ferry to Nusa Penida will sail directly there.

Harbor Locations

Departing from Benoa harbour in South Bali (close to Denpasar airport), the fast ferry sails to Nusa Penida. Checkin is 30 minutes prior to departure time. Benoa harbour is about a 30 minute drive from Kuta and Seminyak areas and about an hour and a half from Ubud.

Hotel Transfers

Hotel transfers in Bali are provided upon request and have to be paid directly to Bountry Cruises on the day of travel. Hotel transfers to/from Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Denpasar are 50,000 IDR per person and pick up will be approximately 1,5 hours before departure. Hotel transfers to/from Ubud, Uluwatu, Candidasa and Tanah Lot are 500,000 IDR per car (or 4 people). Pickup will be approx 2 hours before departure time.

Please note: Each passenger can take up to 25kg of luggage on the boat.
